Since 2009, it has been my privilege to serve central Iowa individuals and families through the counseling services I provide. My passion is seeing hurting people find healing, hope and freedom from the struggles that hold them back from living life fully. My commitment to supporting people on their journey through hardship comes from my personal Christian faith and my own journeys through difficult times.
I currently work part time so that I can also focus on my roles as a wife and as a mother to my young son. My husband and I lived in Bowling Green, OH; Colorado Springs, CO and Portland, OR before moving back to Iowa in 2008. In our spare time, we love to be outside and active as a family. I am a true extrovert who enjoys being with other people – if it involves socializing with other people, I’m usually game. I enjoy running, biking, gardening, decorating, crafting and spending time with family and friends.
I graduated with my undergraduate degree in psychology and writing from Indiana Wesleyan University, Indiana in 2002 and my doctorate in clinical psychology in 2009 from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
